How do I choose a key safe code?Updated 2 months ago
We recommend you select a code for your C500 or P500 Keysafe, between five and six digits in length and avoid using common combinations based on birth years or sequential numbers.
For your ark Tamo™ we recommend selecting at least 6 digits with a minimum of 1 repeating number.
When setting your code, you should try to ensure your code is memorable without being obvious.
The Supra C500 and P500 KeySafe™ have 4,096 possible code combinations, containing a mixture of both numbers and letters with each number/letter only being used once.
The Supra Classic KeySafe™ range has 1,024 possible code sequences with each number being used once.
Our ark Tamo™ range has over 9.7 million possible combinations with each number being able to be set up to 4 times.
We recommend making a note of your code somewhere safe just in case you do ever forget it as you will not be able to open your key safe without the code once it is set. There is no override or reset code.
If you have a lifeline package, be sure to inform the monitoring centre where your key safe is located and what the code is. Ensure they always have a record of your most recent code in case of an emergency.
