How do I choose a key safe code?Updated 2 months ago

We recommend you select a code for your C500 or P500 Key Safe, between five and six digits in length and avoid using common combinations based on birth years or sequential numbers. We do not recommend setting only a 4 digit code in your key safe or setting a year of birth or sequential numbers (e.g.12345).

For your ark Tamo or ark Tamo Pro, you should select at least 6 digits with a minimum of 1 repeating number. We recommend setting a code that is 8 digits long with at least 1 repeating number.

When setting your code, you should try to ensure your code is memorable without being obvious.

We recommend making a note of your code somewhere safe just in case you do ever forget it as you will not be able to open your key safe without the code once it is set. There is no override or reset code.

If you have a lifeline package, be sure to inform the monitoring centre where your key safe is located and what the code is. Ensure they always have a record of your most recent code in case of an emergency.
