What is the difference between the ark Tamo™ and ark Tamo Pro?

The ark Tamo Pro™ offers enhanced security features compared to the standard ark Tamo™ model, making it the ideal choice for high-security applications. Here’s what sets the Tamo Pro apart:

Extra Anti-Saw Pins Protecting the Latch
The Tamo Pro™ is equipped with additional anti-saw pins integrated into the housing, providing a stronger defence against attempts to saw or tamper with the locking mechanism, making it more resistant to physical attacks.

Steel Vault Insert
A high-grade stainless-steel vault insert further reinforces the locking system of the Tamo Pro™, improving its durability and resistance to cutting, grinding, or other destructive methods.

The ark Tamo Pro uses XL Security Screws & Wall Plugs, making it suitable for installation on brick, concrete, stone and rendered walls. These provide a stronger, more robust fixing and are our recommended option wherever possible.

The ark Tamo uses Standard Security Screws, which are suitable for brick, concrete and stone, but not rendered walls. These fixings are recommended for single-skin wall installations.
