Tamo & Tamo Pro – Version Information (Rev C vs Rev D)
We want to ensure customers have clarity on the version of Tamo and Tamo Pro they are purchasing and using.
Current Version (Website Purchases)
All Tamo and Tamo Pro units currently sold via our website are Revision D (Rev D).
Rev D is the latest version of the product, featuring design improvements including a user-replaceable battery.
Tamo → Rev D if purchased from 24th March 2026
Tamo Pro → Rev D if purchased from 27th February 2026
Amazon Purchases – Important Information
If you have purchased your Tamo or Tamo Pro via Amazon, please note:
- Amazon stock may include a mix of Revision C (Rev C) and Revision D (Rev D) units
- As a result, it is possible to receive either version when ordering through Amazon
Please check product images or packaging carefully to determine which revision you have received.
Rev C vs Rev D – Key Differences
Rev C (Non User-Replaceable Battery)
- Battery is fixed internally
- No removable connection point
- The entire illumination module needs to be replaced when battery expires
Rev D (User-Replaceable Battery)
- Features a user-replaceable battery
- Includes a visible removable connection
- Battery can be easily disconnected and replaced
How to Identify Your Version
The easiest way to identify your unit:
- Visible removable connection → Rev D
- No removable connection (fixed setup) → Rev C
