Police preferred status is a certification awarded by Secured by Design who are the official home security scheme that is created and run by the UK police. This initiative was set up to help design out crime and improve building security by improving the products that are built into or added to homes.

The Key Safe Company were the first key safe supplier to become a Secured by Design member and set the standards in the key safe market. We have 4 key safes that meet the police preferred specification. They are; -

The above key safes meet the police preferred specification due to their surpassing the independent attack test standard LPS1175 Issue 8 which is carried out by LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board).
