What are the differences in the police preferred key safes?Updated a month ago

All of our police preferred key safes have passed an independent attack test which is LPS1175. Features of the different key safes in the police preferred range are below.

Supra C500 Pro KeySafe

  • This key safe has passed an independent attack test and has achieved LPS1175 Issue 8 A5 rating
  • This key safe can be installed into brick or concrete. If you install it into another substrate, it will lose its security rating
  • The key safe is beige in colour and comes with a black weather cover
  • We recommend setting a code between 5 - 6 digits in length
  • There are 4,096 possible code combinations to choose from
  • Each digit can only be used once in the code

Supra P500 Pro KeySafe

  • The P500 has also passed an independent attack test and has achieved LPS1175 Issue 8 A5 rating
  • The P500 can also be installed into brick or concrete. If you install it into another substrate, it will lose its security rating
  • The P50 key safe is black in colour and comes with a black weather cover
  • We recommend setting a code between 5 - 6 digits in length
  • There are 4,096 possible code combinations to choose from
  • Each digit can only be used once in the code
  • The P500 has these additional features that are different to the C500
    • An anti-tamper plate which covers the code change mechanism and helps to prevent unauthorised changing of the code
    • An inner steel liner for added strength
    • The inner steel liner has a flap that holds the keys within the steel compartment
    • An anti-saw and drill insert

ark Tamo key safe

  • The ark Tamo has illuminated buttons and the inner compartment is also lit up by an LED
  • The Tamo has multi-press technology with each number being able to be utilised in the code up to 4 times
  • There are over 9.7 million possible code combinations to choose from
  • We recommend that a code is set that is at least 6 digits in length with at least one of the numbers being repeated
  • The Tamo has passed an independent attack test and has achieved a higher rating than the C500 or P500. It's security rating is LPS1175 Issue 8 A10
  • This key safe can be installed into brick, concrete/blockwork or flat stone. If you are fitting the Tamo to a rendered wall you will need to purchase the specific wall plug fittings. If you install into another substrate, it will lose its security rating.

ark Tamo Pro key safe

  • The Tamo Pro also has illuminated buttons and the inner compartment is also lit up by an LED
  • The Tamo Pro also has multi-press technology with each number being able to be utilised in the code up to 4 times
  • The Tamo Pro has over 9.7 million possible code combinations to choose from
  • We recommend that a code is set that is at least 6 digits in length with at least one of the numbers being repeated
  • The Tamo Pro has these additional features that are different to the Tamo
    • The Tamo Pro has dual certification to the independent attack test standard LPS1175 Issue 8. It has both A10 rating and the higher rating of B1.
    • The Tamo Pro is supplied with 2 sets of fittings. The standard screws are designed to install into into brick, concrete/blockwork or flat stone while the XL fixings are for a more secure installation and also for installing into render. If you are fitting the Tamo Pro into another substrate, it will lose its security rating.
    • The Tamo Pro has a high-grade stainless steel insert for added strength
    • This key safe has additional anti-saw pins integrated into the housing providing a stronger defence against attempts to saw or tamper with the key safe
