What kind of batteries can I use?
Please only use AAA alkaline batteries.
Please note, battery status may not reflect correctly on the app as lithium batteries lose their charge quickly at the end of their lifespan.
Can I use rechargeable batteries?
We do not recommend using rechargeable batteries as they lose their charge with every recharge. This makes it difficult to give an accurate estimation of how long more they can last.
How do I know if the batteries for my Keybox 03 are running low?
When the battery life is below 20%, the LED light on the touchscreen changes to red breathing light instead of the usual steady blue light. There will also be 3 fast descending tones when the keypad is woken up.
You can also check the status of your battery on the app.
What happens when the batteries for the Keybox runs out?
The Keybox has a USBC jumpstart feature where a power pack can be used to power the device to get it open and replace the batteries.
Do I need a strong internet connection or Bluetooth connection during pairing?
Yes, your phone requires a strong internet and Bluetooth connection during pairing with your Keybox 3, to ensure a smooth pairing process. The Keybox 3 itself does not need an internet connection.
Where should I place my Keybox 03?
We advise that the Keybox 03 be secured in a sheltered area. It is splash-resistant with IP66 certifications, but is not water-proof.

What happens if I lose my smartphone?
If you lose your smartphone, you can use another phone to login to your account to delete your lock from the current account, and pair it to a new account. Following which, contact us immediately to disable your old igloohome account. Once it is disabled, anyone who picks up your phone will not be able to access any functions on the app. We also recommend that you use Android Manager or Find My IPhone to remotely lock your phone.

What is the warranty period of the Keybox 03?
The Keysafe Company provides a 1 year product warranty on the igloohome keybox 03. This covers mechanical and electronics defects. The product warranty period ends 1 year from the invoice date.
What is the IP rating of the igloohome Keybox 03?
The Keybox 3 is able to withstand weather conditions with protection against dust and water (IP66)
What material is the Keybox 03 made of?
The Keybox 03 body is made of zinc alloy, and is reinforced with steel to prevent breaking in. The Keybox loop is made of steel, with a silicon rubber casing.
What happens to the Keybox during a power cut.
As the Keybox runs on batteries, it will work regardless of a power trip or blackout.
