I have moved into a property and there is a key safe, but we don’t know the code?

Unfortunately, we don’t hold any codes for key safe's here. As a main supplier, all units leave us un-coded.  Additionally, being a security item, they do not have any master/reset code facility.

It may be that the previous owner/tenant of your property had a care package in place which required this key safe. I would recommend reaching out to your local authority’s Adult Social Care department as there is a chance they have retained code information.

You may also wish to check in with neighbours to see if they were made aware of any codes for this unit.

If the above is not successful, this means you will not be able to make use of this key safe I’m afraid. The removal of a locked key safe would need to be performed by someone with power tools like an angle grinder (local handyman will be your best bet).

We would advise against trying to prise the unit from the wall as it may cause damage the surface it is installed on to.

For advice on key safes where you have lost or forgotten your code please see the article for lost or forgotten codes.
