The easiest way to change your code is to remove the old code first so that your key safe is uncoded before attempting to set a new code.

Removing the code

1. Open the weather cover
2. Pull down the clear button and release
3. Rotate the open dial 180 degrees clockwise to open the key safe
4. With the key safe kept open, rotate the open dial anti-clockwise 180 degrees to push the latch out
5. Check to make sure that the latch is pushed out
6. Slide the code cover towards the latch
7. Take out the code change tool
8. Use the code change tool to turn the code dials so that they are all pointing to the '0' position

Your key safe is now uncoded

Setting a new code

1. Use the code change tool to turn the code dials of each digit to the number of times this digit is used in your chosen new code. For example, if you want the number 2 in your code three times, you will move the code dial for the 2 button to the 3 position.
2. Make sure any digits not in your code are in the '0' position
3. Replace the code change tool

Checking the code

1. Pull the clear button down and release
2. Enter your code. Make sure the buttons click
3. Rotate the dial 180 degrees clockwise
4. If the latch retracts the code has been set correctly
5. Hold the lid closed
6. Rotate the dial 180 degrees anti-clockwise to lock
7. The device has been locked correctly when you hear a click
