ark Tamo™ has been designed following extensive customer consultation by our UK-based access solution experts, resulting in a mechanical key safe that combines unparalleled levels of code and construction security with user-focused convenience and ease-of-use.
Built to Secured by Design (SBD) police preferred specification, ark Tamo™ is the world’s first mechanical key safe to achieve the LPS1175 Issue 8 A10 attack security rating from LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board) sitting within the world’s most secure mechanical key safe range.
Unparalleled security
ark Tamo™ is made of strengthened zinc alloy which is corrosion and attack resistant. The double-wall construction, coupled with strategically positioned attack-resistant reinforcement pins, provide unrivalled security. It features a world first multi-push locking mechanism which has been engineered to offer enhanced reliability and safety. Patented multi-push technology allows each button to be used up to four times to form a more memorable code, resulting in over 9.7 million high security code combinations, unparalleled by any other mechanical key storage device.
Illuminated keypad and vault
ark Tamo™ features a keypad with ten soft-touch, large buttons made from tough plastic. Each button is backlit by the inner lighting module for maximum visibility, once activated. An internal light also illuminates the inner compartment for ease of use.

5 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY: The Tamo police preferred key safe range comes with 5 years warranty when registered on The Key Safe Company website. Only for mechanical parts. Illumination module is covered by 2 years warranty.
Below you will find a data sheet for each version of the ark Tamo key safe.
Rev C has a sealed illumination module which is designed to last up to 5 years, the battery is not replaceable. Once the lights cease to work, change the entire illumination module. The key safe will continue to operate even when the lights no longer work.
Rev D has an illumination module with a user replaceable coin cell battery (CR2032).
